Reconciliation Empowering Communities – REC and D&G Solutions are pleased to inform the public that have been supported by the Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR KS) within the Kosovo Youth Dialogue Activity program financed by by USAID Kosovo, to implement the project “Behind the story! Youth as a catalyst agents in reconciliation”.
Within this project, REC NGO and D&G Solution seek to promote and support the role of young people in peace-building activities that contribute to living together in dignity and dialogue through a network of specifically trained young people who strengthen the presence and promote the values peace and democratization in conflict-affected areas and communities.

The landfill for the Mitrovica region is located on Gërmova Mountain, in the village of Koshtovë and its size is 7 hectares with a capacity of 2 million cubic meters.
The waste deposited there is not compacted, water treatment is lacking and there is no gas management.
